Soda City Classic
The Soda City Classic is an annual Olympic weightlifting competition hosted by Powerhouse Weightlifting. Thanks to event sponsors and donors, registration fees are waived for youth competitors to reduce barriers to participation.
Clinics
Powerhouse Weightlifting hosts focused clinics that address specific technical and performance topics. These sessions provide deeper instruction than regular training and give athletes the opportunity to refine skills or address common limitations in a structured setting. Clinics are offered free of charge and are open to both Powerhouse athletes and members of the broader community.
Competitions
Powerhouse Weightlifting athletes regularly compete at national competitions and regional meets throughout the year. As a nonprofit organization, we provide financial support to qualifying national-level athletes by helping subsidize travel costs, reducing barriers to competition and supporting continued development.
Fundrasiers
Fundraising plays a key role in supporting Powerhouse Weightlifting athletes throughout the competitive season. Funds raised through events and community efforts help offset travel expenses, competition costs, and program needs for athletes pursuing national-level opportunities. These efforts allow the nonprofit to reinvest directly into athlete support while keeping participation accessible.
